The Mediterranean climate is characterised by cool wet winters and hot summers. The Moore River region is the largest olive growing region in Western Australia and the 2nd largest in Australia. The Moore River region boasts an abundance of pure liquid gold olive oil. The Moore River region is to olive as the Margaret River region is to vineyards.
