Lancelin Food and Wine Festival in Wangaree Park sponsored by The Lancelin Chamber of Commerce and Industry.12 noon til 8.30pm on Saturday 17th April, and 9am – 2pm on Sunday 18th April. To be held in conjunction with bicycle events presented by Bicycling WA and Cyclo Sportif. FREE ENTRY. This is a family friendly event so enjoy our activities,food and drinks. Bring the family along and join the family bike ride around the town from 2.45pm – 3.15pm on the Saturday. Western Australia is a popular destination for windsurfers worldwide with our spectacular Indian Ocean and our abundant coastline. Lancelin is one of the more real locations to be seen wind surfing. Lancelin is popular due to its proximity to our city, just over 1 hours drive north of Perth.
Lancelin is home to the Famous Lancelin Ocean Classic. The Lancelin Ocean Classic is the most prestigious and longest running windsurfing event in Australia. The L.O.C. attracts world class windsurfing competitors and spectators from around the world. L.O.C is celebrating its 25th year event from 7th-10th January 2010
Lancelin is ideal for any level of windsurfing, learning, shallow flat water inshore, flat water for blasting around and three breaks for all levels of wave sailors.
