We found the earthiness of Moore River Holidays a fresh awakening and the vegetable garden, relaxed native gardens, orchards - mulberries, apricots, nectarines, peaches, (yet to fruit) a pleasant interlude to the day spent meandering in the extensive grounds. The river will intoxicate you with its shadows, reflections and trees reaching their limbs into the water. In the afternoon, relax with your favourite tipple on the benches beside the lazy flowing river after a short walk down a grassed pathway to yet another wonderful corner of this property. Plenty of space for family and friends in the relaxed homely environment.
On arrival the home was spotlessly clean, light and spacious with inviting vistas to greet the eye in all directions. In our visit in October evenings were pleasant though being working types we tended to stay indoors however the outdoor areas are resplendent in their easy living, family focused, fun provoked, wide veranda extensions to the home adding an extended living context to the comfortable indoor areas. A total package for a well earned R&R whatever the time that you have to enjoy this sanctuary. Close to Moore River which invites all guests to enjoy kayaking, body boarding, swimming or simply sunny the bod in the sand beside the tranquil waters.
The amazing Pinnacles are only a short journey away and you will experience something historic in the formations here.
There is plentiful local fare to keep you in the lap of luxury gastronomically speaking. From olives, olive oils, nuts, citrus, fresh eggs, jams, honey...this has it all to add zest to your diet.
Enjoy the experience, relax into the country and return to everyday life renewed.....and don’t forget to look out for the resident King Skink who, though a little timid, does grace the property with his presence from time to time.

Moore River Holidays is not like any another holiday spot you might have been to....it's a place that you want to keep as a secret just for yourself. The only sounds you here are the birds and the leaves rustling in the breeze.
As soon as we tell the kids that we are going to Moore River on holidays they ask "for how long?" "Ooh, that's not long enough" and that is said every time we get a chance to go. There are so many things to do and explore....with the river on your door step. We go fishing, kayaking, and bush walking. Last time we were there, we had the cows casually grazing on the property. Sometimes you get the chance to meet some of the beautiful horses from the adjoining property.
It's a paradise that Rona & Cos are happy to share with others!
