I’ve just woken up to the smell of toast cooking. Well, when you smell toast you just can’t resist it. This morning I topped my toast with my newly purchased creamed honey from West Coast Honey. West Coast Honey has no preservatives added and tops my shopping list of grocery items to have. Having a senitive and allergy prone children and hubby, chosing foods closest to unprocessed is important to me. Caladenia Mini Golf
July 17th, 2010 by Rona ChieraJust came back from a meeting at the well manicured Fini Olive property which is now open for tastings.I stopped in at Caladenia Mini Golf and was warmly placed in front of their wood fired heater. Their chips are the best that I have eaten. Can you find me anyone else in the Moore River region that sells the best chips? I’ll write about their freshly prepared sausage rolls that the local farmers rave about, next time.

Game on with or without Balderdash
May 16th, 2010 by Rona ChieraWhere ever we go we take a pack of cards and the Balderdash game. Balderdash is our families’ favourite game. Well this time we forgot to bring it along so my daughter taught me how to play it from her Apple Mac. We looked up the dictionary and proceeded to laugh our heads off silly by creating our own meanings for words we found on the dictionary. A weekend away at Moore River Holidays is what you want to make of it. Bringing out the cards and the board games keeps the T.V. off but as yet we haven’t totally excluded the electronics.

Allergies and Tourism with Moore River Holidays
May 12th, 2010 by Rona ChieraAs I write this article, I am sitting in Princess Margaret Hospital with my daughter Isabella who is a chronic allergy sufferer. We travel everywhere with her Epipen, Phenergan and other anti histimines. When holidaying at Moore River Holidays we want you to be allergy aware. An allergic reaction can happen to anyone at anytime anywhere and the trigger can be something you have previously eaten, touched or been around. Allergies are indiscriminate and some can be life threatening. I want you to know that our closest hospital is Joondalup Health campus approx 35mins. away and there is no chemist within our immediate area. Please speak with your medical profession and seek advise before traveling with allergies. Remember is your responsibility to know where a chemist, a doctor and hospital is and how long to get there. Use the emergency number 112 on your mobile phone if 000 is unavailable.
