The real sharks don’t have teeth!

According to our Perth Now article, there have been 367 shark attacks in QLD, NSW and Vic combined.  48 in WA. Of those attacks, here is the total of Fatal shark attacks in QLD, NSW and Vic combined 159. WA fatal shark attack total is only 19. If you look at a map of Australia, which shows our states, you will notice that we both have similar coastline lenghts on the west and on the east. So, knowing the shark attacks and fatals tally from our Perth Now article, aren’t you more likely to be attacked on the east coast? Like over 700% more shark fatalities on the east coast than in Western Australia. You do the maths or take a gamble, toss a coin, which ocean would you rather swim in? Is this scare mongeringing media being fuelled by East Coast jealousy as their tourism is struggling and it is a tactic to bring WA down? We are the outdoor capital of Australia- we have mining, tourism, sunshine, sharks and a boring tag. You can count me in the boring state list anyday.

Thank you Perth Now-Great article
